Do you offer senior discounts?

There are senior discounts available for tickets to all of our productions.

Can I volunteer backstage?

Parents of cast members will be contacted during the rehearsal process regarding volunteering with set build, dressing room assistance, concessions, tickets and ushering. 
MT Ed offers a teen tech internship program. If you have a child that is interested in learning about stage management, stage crew, lighting, sound, etc. please fill out the form on our Tech Internship page.

Are deposits for your youth programs refundable?

If you find that your child can no longer participate in a program they have registered for, the $100 deposit is non-refundable, however, it can be applied toward a future program. This is due to expenses that have already been paid based on your child's anticipated participation.

What ages are your programs for?

We offer educational theatre programs for pre-school through high school. Please check range for each individual program in the program description. We also offer performance opportunities through community theatre productions for actors of all ages.

What makes MT Ed special?

MT Ed's program is unique in the Rochester area.

Our theatre program in inclusive to students of all abilities. We have a staff of trained educators who are prepared to work with students to bring out their fullest potential.

Our theatre programs have a low cap for participation which ensures a solid educational experience for your child.

Our summer camp participants get outdoors! Most theatre summer camps focus on production only. Our summer camp focuses on the whole child. Our camp day is extended to allow for outdoor time, which can include trips to Ontario Beach State Park, the carousel,  Abbott's and area restaurants.

We offer a full recreational dance program culminating in a recital in June but also offer drop-in dance classes which allow for flexibility that is not available at other dance studios. Students can come of often as they like and do not need to commit to an annual contract or recital.

My child has medical needs or dietary restrictions which have limited their participation in other programs. Can they participate in your program?

MT Ed makes every effort to accommodate your child's needs so that they can participate. Please contact us with your specific need. If training by a staff member is required, we will likely be able to fulfill that need with enough notice. At least one staff member on site is first aid trained and diabetes trained.
